Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is known for the roles she played as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her showbiz career at a young age. She played lead roles in TV dramas as young as 16 years old. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was both critically and critically acclaimed commercially. Additional Oscar nominated film starring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra's professional career has included work on a number of important national and international projects. This includes the British biographical film Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she has been a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and at the Cannes Film Festival.
