Matthew Matt James was born in North Carolina on December 5 1991. He is the son of Manny and Patty James and is of mixed race. His father is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. He graduated in 2010 from Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2015. James became famous when his appearance on The Bachelorette as a reality TV star. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in 2021. The following Bachelor was James, who was one of the very first African American to play the lead role. James seemed to be the perfect choice to the job because He is attractive, well-rounded and tall and has a great sense of humor. Rachael Krakconnell, who was his girlfriend to date for the rest of the season. In the season 30 (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, James competed alongside the legendary dancing star Arnold. James and Arnold placed 12th on the show.
