Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress who is best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. After her parents' divorce her parents separated, she moved to Worthington in Ohio and moved at Los Angeles. She was struggling to survive when she got her first part in the acting world as Rachel's Room's main character. The actress was able to secure an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as the 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder set in Greenwich. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. She played the lead protagonist for two seasons and won the Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace, who had worked with Tom Welling on The Fog in the year 2005, decided to make the move to film. She starred as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken 2008) as Suburban Girl as well as The Jane Austen Book Club. The role was reprised in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the lead role Alice on Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played the role of Shannon in Lost, including the finale. The year 2013 saw Grace appear in Californianation, the 6th Season. She plays Faith as a groupie, and is also a model actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. As a member of the Gyllenhaal family, she is the daughter of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and is the younger sister of actor Jake Gyllenhaal. As a teenager, she began to work as a small part-time actress for her father. She was also in Donnie Darko alongside her twin brother. In 2002, she appeared as a character in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. The actress also starred on Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics in both of her roles as the main character in Secretary (2002) which is which is an erotic romantic drama and Sherrybaby (2006). In 2006, she was also nominated by her fellow actors for the Golden Globe Award. The year 2006 was the time she starred in several commercially successful movies including World Trade Center. However it was her performance in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her greater attention for her performance in The Dark Knight (2008). Her performance in Crazy Heart as a mother with a single child was nominated to the Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. She subsequently starred in the dramatics and comedies: Nanny McPhee as well as the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Won't Back Down (2012). Some of her other characters include as a secret agent for The Secret Service in White House Down 2013. She also appeared as a singer in Frank 2014, and as a singer in The Kindergarten Teacher 2018, where she is the lead role. In 2021, Gyllenhaal made her writing and directing debut in the psychological drama The Lost Daughter for which she received The Lost Daughter the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated to win the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
